Sarah over at Life in the Parsonage who is super-cute (we "met" through blog-land, live ridiculously close and have even met in person but I still think we need to hang-out for real one of these days) got me all excited to sew. I have been wanting pillows for our family room since we moved into it (back in April) but am waaaaaaay too cheap to spend $29.99 on one pillow. The perfect solution? Sew my own, of course! Well, Sarah's energy is contagious and my mind was made up. The only problem? Could NOT find my mom's old trusty sewing machine. I leaned how to sew using it back in the day, and when Mike & I first moved into our house I used it to make curtains & a shower curtain. How does one misplace a sewing machine? No clue. I figured once I purchased a new one the old one would show up. We will see... Anyway, I made a trip to a couple local fabric stores and came home with my new sewing machine and these fabrics. I'm in L.O.V.E!
