The new stockings I had ordered for the kids arrived today. I must say, stocking makers these days must be betting on Santa bringing LOTS of gifts for the kiddos. These things are monstrous... at least 2x the size of the stocking I had as a kid!!! MaryClaire was reluctant to use a new stocking (since I am so cheap, I have been letting the kids use our (Mike & I) stockings up until this year. The ones I have been drooling over for the past few years finally went on sale & I caved!!) as change is VERY difficult for her. Wonder where she gets that trait... Anyway, once I pointed out the size difference and what that meant she was all for it. I gave Brian his & he immediately started trying it on! HA! What a hoot that kid is! So, MaryClaire had to stick hers on her head.... We are starting to get into the Christmas spirit around here. I received my first Christmas card in the mail today, too. Tis the season!!!
