Prepping for Christmas

MaryClaire spent much of November and early December preparing for two special Christmas performances. First we had her dance recital, Concert of Joy, at the Strayer-Wood Theater at UNI. Being the awesome Mommy I am these days I didn't snap one single picture of her in her costume this winter. Oops! I'll get some in the spring since they wear the same costume. She was pretty cute up on stage dancing and she was SO excited to be all dressed up with her make-up and hair done. During the concert we had a long wait for her to come out on stage. The show was about an hour and a half and she danced for one minute, eleven seconds. Oh the things we do for our kids! :) The boys were surprisingly REALLY good throughout the concert, too. Thank goodness!!!

MaryClaire's Sunday school program took place the next Sunday. This year she was a "child carrying gifts" in the play. She did a great job! She knew the words to every song & quietly sang along. We sat in the front row & whenever she looked at us she tried hiding a huge grin. We thought it was really cute! After the program I made the kids pose in front of the church Christmas tree for some pretty cute snap-shots! Man is it hard with 3 to get everyone to look at the camera AND smile at the same time! :)

Great pictures of the kids! They all look so darn cute! That little Corbin is growing up too fast. Can't wait to see you all again soon!
