Stacy & I decided to take the kids to the Blank Park Zoo last Friday. We set off right on time and made it to Des Moines in record time... oops! However, once in Des Moines it took us over an hour to find the zoo. Don't ask... Good thing I had Stacy with me!!! All of the kids were extremely well behaved in the car & at the zoo. It ended up being a really fun day! The kids fed the ducks, walked across the swinging bridge & LOVED the fish! Brian spilled milk on his shorts so he only wore a diaper while I was trying to dry them out. That was great when he was riding in the stroller, but when he got out it looked a little silly. Especially since we forgot his shoes and he had to wear the extra pair I had packed for MC in case her flip flops hurt her feet!! Not sure about the funny faces my kids are making in some of these pics, but we really did enjoy our day at the zoo!
